Hold My Ale, Trying to Escape

Updated: May 26, 2020

Have you played any of The EXIT Game series, that are escape room games from, KOSMOS??

We played EXIT: The Game – Dead Man on the Orient Express this weekend. The EXIT Games can only be played once, and unless you’re extremely careful, they are disposable with many aspects of the puzzles requiring you to cut up, mark or fold components. We did not realize that this version was Expert level till after we finished. We thought we were just off our game. The puzzles all had a unique flair to them, and we found ourselves finding secrets hidden in plain sight on some of the pages. The story is well thought out and brings you onto the experience. Once you have finished the game, you can get your performance rating using a chart provided in the rules. Essentially, the best score is for completing the game in under an hour and having used zero hint cards. Your rating decreases with more time spent and more clue cards used.

If you enjoy Escape Rooms and puzzlers, you will enjoy the game. We recommend giving one of the Series a try.

*The next time we play, we are going to stage the gameplay around our home to go next level on the Escape experience.
